Pakistan to Kyrgyzstan · Tourist, study and work

Kyrgyzstan from Pakistan: three routes, one honest guide.

Kyrgyzstan is open to Pakistanis as a visitor, as a medical student and as a worker, but each route has different rules, and the work and MBBS routes carry real risks if you skip the checks. Here is how each one works and what to confirm first.

What changed in 2026

  • Kyrgyzstan has moved to a single permit that combines the work permit and the work visa, applied for online. Interim rules apply until 31 December 2026, and the ministry in charge has shifted during the year.
  • Foreign-worker quotas are set annually and reported figures have changed during 2026, so a permit depends on both an employer and available quota.
  • Pakistan's medical council now ties registration of foreign medical graduates to the institution's international recognition, and reportedly removed the MDCAT requirement for studying abroad in October 2026. Check the notice on pmdc.pk.

Rules move quickly

Scams to avoid

Fake visa websites and job offers

Pakistan's Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment has warned people about a fraudulent Kyrgyz visa website. Use only the official e-visa portal, evisa.e-gov.kg, or the Kyrgyz embassy, and never pay for a job, a permit or an admission to a personal account.

  • Never work on a tourist or study visa. It is not permitted, and Pakistani overseas-employment rules specifically bar using visit or study visas for employment.
  • Check that any recruiter is a licensed Overseas Employment Promoter on the BE&OE website.
  • Be wary of any guarantee of a job, a salary, a quota place or admission.

Which page do you need?

The tourist guide covers the e-visa step by step. The MBBS guide starts with the question that matters most, whether your degree will be recognised in Pakistan. The work guide explains the permit system, the occupations we support and what our package includes.

Only if you meet PM&DC's requirements, including graduating from a recognised institution and passing the National Registration Examination. Check the university and the current rules before you enrol.

How much do your Kyrgyzstan packages cost?+

The tourist package is US$900 and includes visa processing and fees, airport pickup, accommodation and a tour guide. The work package is US$2,200 in total, excluding your air ticket. For MBBS, tuition is US$2,000 per semester, plus first-year charges listed on the MBBS page.

Visaroo is an independent company. It is not affiliated with the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC), the Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment (BE&OE), any university or any embassy. Visa, permit, admission and registration decisions are made by those bodies, and nobody can guarantee them. Rules, fees and quotas change, and Kyrgyzstan's permit rules are interim during 2026, so always confirm current details on the official sources before you act.
