How Kyrgyzstan's work permit works in 2026

  • Foreign nationals need a permit to work. Citizens of the Eurasian Economic Union are exempt, but Pakistan is not a member, so Pakistani workers need one.
  • Kyrgyzstan now uses a single permit that combines the work permit and the work visa, applied for online. The employer normally applies, and self-employed sole proprietors can apply themselves.
  • A fixed number of permits is available each year through a quota. Pakistan is among the countries that request the most places, and the 2026 quota figures have been reported differently.
  • Interim rules apply until 31 December 2026, and the ministry handling applications has changed during the year.

A permit is not automatic

Whether a permit can be issued depends on the employer, the occupation, the quota and the rules in force on the day you apply. Anyone promising a guaranteed permit or job is not being honest with you.

The occupations we support

  • Food delivery
  • Construction
  • Tailoring
  • Car wash

These are the occupations our package currently covers, and the ones we help you find work in. We do not promise a particular job, employer, salary or start date.

We put it in writing

The package price is US$2,200 in total. Your air ticket and the cost of your accommodation are not included, although we find the accommodation for you. Before you pay anything, we confirm in writing exactly what the package covers, who the employer or route is, and the terms if a permit cannot be issued. Ask us for this at the start.

Protect yourself first

  • Overseas employment from Pakistan is regulated by the Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment under the Emigration Ordinance 1979. Anyone who recruits people in Pakistan for overseas jobs should be a licensed Overseas Employment Promoter, and you can check the list on beoe.gov.pk.
  • Workers going abroad on a work visa should be protected through the Protector of Emigrants, which makes the employment agreement enforceable. Ask how this is handled in your case.
  • Never travel on a tourist or study visa to work. It is not allowed, and it leaves you without legal protection.
  • Never pay for a job or permit to a personal account, and always get a written receipt and agreement.

Walk away if any of this happens

A promise of guaranteed work, a request to enter on a visit visa, pressure to pay quickly, an employer you cannot verify, or no written agreement. These are the signs of a scam.

Questions answered

How much does the Kyrgyzstan work visa package cost?+

Our complete visa and work package is US$2,200 in total, excluding your air ticket. It includes the company or independent visa, visa extension, NOC support, the work permit, complete documentation assistance, job search support, police registration and medical, airport pickup, help finding accommodation (the accommodation cost itself is not included) and help settling in during your first days. We confirm in writing what it covers before you pay.

Do you find me a job, and is it guaranteed?+

Our package includes job search support, meaning we help you find an employer. We can't guarantee a particular job, employer, salary or permit, because a permit depends on the employer, the quota and the rules in force.

Can I work on a tourist visa?+

No. You need the proper permit before you start work, and using a visit visa for employment is not allowed.

What is the single permit?+

It is Kyrgyzstan's combined work and residence permit, replacing the separate work permit and work visa, and applied for online. Interim rules apply until 31 December 2026.

Is overseas work from Pakistan regulated?+

Yes. The Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment regulates overseas employment, and recruiters should be licensed. Check beoe.gov.pk before you pay anyone.

Which jobs do you cover?+

Food delivery, construction, tailoring and car wash. We do not promise a specific employer or salary.
